VAMED AG announced today that Dr Klaus Schuster will resign from the Executive Board of VAMED following the planned sale of the rehabilitation business. As part of the transfer of the service business to Fresenius, Frank-Michael Frede will also resign from the Executive Board. Both managers will leave VAMED at the end of the transactions and will take over management duties at their assigned companies.

Mr. Moritz Timothy Gärtner, who was appointed to the VAMED Executive Board in August 2023, has taken over the position of CEO of VAMED AG on 1 August 2024. In addition, Mr. Milan Manduch has joined the Executive Board on 1 August 2024 and has taken over the newly created Operational Excellence department in the role of COO. Manduch, a business graduate and transformation expert, has more than 20 years of experience, particularly in the healthcare sector. Prior to joining VAMED, he was a partner at the international management consultancy Stern Stewart & Co in Munich.

Since 1 August 2024, VAMED's three-member Executive Board team has thus consisted of Mr Moritz Timothy Gärtner as Chairman of the Executive Board (CEO), Mr Andreas Wortmann as CFO and Mr Milan Manduch as COO. In the company's current phase of transformation, they will ensure a continuous transition.
